Background

This year I've been captivated by the explosion of creativity enabled by LLMs. I’m particularly excited about a paradigm shift in knowledge work, and I want to build tools that extend our cognition and help us navigate the information landscape by creating malleable software that dynamically adapts to user intent. The way we relate to information is fundamentally shifting, and our action spaces are growing dramatically, but we need tools to wield intelligence and help us navigate our new action spaces. This could revolutionize how we navigate the vast digital landscape, manage our attention, and ultimately, how we work and create.

Overview

Compass is a tool designed to guide users' attention through the vast information landscape of the internet. By leveraging the power of LLMs, Compass aims to help users navigate their action spaces and streamline their attention, thereby reducing the distraction caused by information overload. The tool is designed to dynamically adapt to the user's intent, providing relevant data and application components as needed. This allows users to interact more harmoniously with their AI-assisted environment, reclaiming their attention and making the most of their digital experience.
