Compare Care

Although the U.S. healthcare system is among the most innovative in the world, it is notorious for price gouging consumers on life-saving treatments and medications. We rely on insurance companies to negotiate on our behalf, but the result is that both insurance companies and the healthcare sector continue to profiteer off Americans. What's missing is a simple way for consumers to compare the costs of treatments and medications in their area. A fundamental area like healthcare should be as transparent as possible. To address this issue, we've developed Care Compare. Using our web app, users can select their location, choose a medical, dental, or vision procedure and quickly compare prices across hospitals. We've designed our app to be as comprehensive as possible and accurate as possible leveraging a data set containing every single American hospital and the most up to date list of procedures they offer with prices attached.
