Inspiration
We wanted to create a fun and engaging learning experience where users can test their knowledge through quizzes while competing with others. The idea was to make learning more interactive by adding a real-time leaderboard that motivates users to improve their scores.
What it does
Our project is a quiz-based game where users answer multiple-choice questions. Each correct answer earns points, and users are ranked on a leaderboard based on their scores. The leaderboard encourages healthy competition and keeps players engaged.
How we built it
We developed the application using modern web technologies. The frontend provides an interactive interface for answering questions, while the backend manages user data, quiz questions, scores, and the leaderboard. The leaderboard updates automatically whenever a user's score changes
Challenges we ran into
Designing a fair and accurate scoring system. Updating the leaderboard efficiently after each game. Managing user data and preventing duplicate score entries. Creating a responsive and user-friendly interface.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Successfully built a fully functional quiz game. Implemented a dynamic leaderboard that ranks players based on their scores. Created an engaging and easy-to-use interface. Delivered a project that combines learning with friendly competition.
What we learned
Through this project, we learned how to build an interactive web application, manage user scores, implement leaderboard functionality, and improve both frontend and backend integration. We also gained valuable experience in problem-solving, teamwork, and creating a better user experience.
What's next for community puzzle
Our next goal is to make Community Puzzle more engaging and interactive by introducing new features. We plan to add multiple quiz categories, difficulty levels, and daily challenges to keep users coming back. We'll also implement multiplayer quiz battles, achievements and badges, personalized user profiles, and AI-generated questions for unlimited content.
