Community Health Resource Center by Giraffes

Inspiration

Globally, employee burnout, amongst other healthcare problems, both physical and mental is on the rise. We're inspired by creating sustainable work environments, where people's health is not aggravated by work.

What it does

Firstly, it offers a service to assess employee well-being, secondly, based on the assessment results, it offers customizable solutions: nutritional counseling, behavioral/mental health services, health screenings, and health education.

How we built it

1) Broke down the problem statement into smaller detailed problems 2) Conducted a competitor's analysis 3) Current website usability test 4) Brainstormed solutions and settled on one 5) Created a user flow 6) Created low-fidelity wireframes 7) Created high-fidelity wireframes

Challenges we ran into

1) Limited time to work through tasks and the varied timezones 2) Lack of a developer 3) Thinking about our demo flow before building the pages

Accomplishments that we're proud of

1) Team members were all active and engaged and took on different roles 2) Organising between different timezones 3) Managed to learn new skills -- knowledge sharing and complementing 4) Keeping our cool most of the time, even under different pressures 5) Participating in most of the challenges

1) Collaborate with more companies to provide more health services 2) Expand beyond the SF area
