Inspiration
We were inspired by applications such as Nextdoor, SchoolTutors, Youbo. We found that in our lives and through research, post-pandemic levels on loneliness in teens have increased.
What it does
Our product has features that encourage interactions between people such as having a help board where users can post small issues that users can discuss about. In addition we have a friends page that finds and recommends people with similar interests and hobbies, community events page where people can rsvp to user created events as well as special cultural events which is
How we built it
We use web based technologies such as react to build a framework of the website
Challenges we ran into
Issues with code not working as intended, designs not matching with current product has cost us a lot of time. We were not able to fit all our ideas due to this time constraint
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Our teamwork and commitment to the project. Learning new things such as programming languages and software.
What we learned
Having a better understanding of our technologies would help in the future when creating and improving our design skills
