Inspiration

We all have causes that we are passionate about. For Mercy, it is caring for rescued animals. For Marcus, it is lending a hand to needy people. For Travor, it is teaching young people to code. And for Samuel, it is making girls in low-income households access sanitary towels. These causes inspired us to come together and create a project that would make a difference in our communities.

What it does

The project is a platform that connects individuals who are interested in volunteering, donating, and creating events for causes they are passionate about. It provides a space for people to come together and take action towards creating a positive impact in their communities. Whether it's donating to a charity, volunteering at a local shelter, or organizing a fundraising event, the platform makes it easier for individuals to get involved and make a difference. By bringing together like-minded individuals, the project aims to empower people to take action and create real change.

How we built it

Each member of the team played a crucial role in building the project. Mercy did the UI/UX design, Travor and Samuel worked on the backend, while Marcus was responsible for the frontend. This collaborative effort ensured that each aspect of the project was taken care of and that the final product was of the highest quality.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges we faced was not being on the same timezone. This made it difficult to discuss the way forward and ensure that everyone was available at the same time to check up on progress. Additionally, the time to finish up the project was limited, which meant that we had to work quickly and efficiently to meet our deadline.

Despite these challenges, we were able to come together and build a project that we are proud of. It is a testament to what can be achieved when people with different skills and passions work together towards a common goal.
