Inspiration

Many people — especially non-native speakers and introverts — struggle with real-time communication. We wanted to build a tool that acts like a personal coach in your pocket, helping people speak and express themselves with confidence.

What it does

Communication Pal is a real-time conversation coach and speech/pronunciation helper. It listens to you speak, gives instant feedback on clarity and pronunciation, and coaches you to communicate more effectively in everyday situations.

How we built it

We built the frontend using React/Next.js, integrating browser-based speech recognition APIs for real-time audio input. The coaching logic processes speech patterns and delivers instant, actionable feedback through a clean, responsive UI.

Challenges we ran into
