Inspiration

Our project centers around the lack of convenience for hospital staff to convert paper forms and data into an electronic copy. Electronic information can be easily transferred between departments, hospitals, and/or doctors. Our premise centers around one word: access. We want to allow patients to access their own medical information, billing charges, doctor’s notes, prescriptions, and their medical history. We want to free up a bogged down hospital employee by introducing a system that will make it intuitive for them to input, edit, and view patient data.

I worked on making the mobile app and it was my first time using Bravo. I learned a lot about integrating APIs with mobile apps

It was my first time using Amazon Web Services so I was able to get the gist of how to use lambda functions and DynamoDB for our project. I also contributed to the logic of our idea.

I worked on the backend, and it was my first time working with DynamoDB. I learned a lot about REST API.

I mainly worked on UI design and since this was my first hackathon I became more acquainted with the infrastructure that connects the frontend to the backend.
