Inspiration

I wanted to make a dashboard. I found that following the conocophillips track best suit this.

What it does

Visualizes Oil and gas Data. It visualizes api data for natural gas and oil as well as displaying relevant news data below the dashboard.

How we built it

Built with react using public commodities APIs to visualize data for oil and gas

Challenges we ran into

Public APIs can be difficult to work with, especially when there are costs and limitations I know that thinks like api keys should be in env files too but that was low priority for me since this serves more as a proof of concept for ow

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I wanted to go into CodeRED by myself since this semester is really team project-focused. Although I felt that I could have definitely produced a better product, I am proud to have been able to experience a hackathon in this way.
