Inspiration

Companies make promises to customers every day, but those promises can get lost across tickets, teams, and systems. We were inspired by a simple problem: a closed ticket doesn't always mean the promised customer outcome was delivered.

What it does

Commitment Guardian turns important promises into live commitments. It monitors progress, detects fulfilment gaps, investigates blockers, takes or recommends permitted recovery actions, and verifies the final outcome with evidence.

How we built it

We built the solution around a Commitment Twin that captures the promised outcome, deadline, dependencies, and success evidence. Its workflow is: Detect → Understand → Map → Monitor → Investigate → Recover → Verify We also created an interactive Mission Control prototype to visualize and manage commitments.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge was converting natural-language promises into measurable outcomes and determining what evidence actually proves that a commitment has been fulfilled. We also had to design safe boundaries for autonomous recovery actions.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a complete closed-loop concept that goes beyond ticket tracking—from detecting a promise to independently verifying its outcome. We are especially proud of the distinction between “task completed” and “outcome proven.”

What we learned

We learned that completing a workflow is not always the same as achieving the real objective. Effective AI agents need to reason about outcomes, use evidence, and continue monitoring instead of simply marking tasks as complete.

What's next for Commitment Guardian

Next, we aim to connect Commitment Guardian with more enterprise systems and enable it to manage a wider range of customer commitments with configurable workflows, permissions, and recovery playbooks. Commitment Guardian — From Promise to Proven Outcome.
