Inspiration We were inspired by the everyday challenges of managing scattered e-commerce tools. We wanted a simple dashboard that centralizes key metrics like sales, expenses, and inventory — especially useful for small teams or solo founders.

What it does SimplifyCommerce is a lightweight dashboard that allows users to track sales, expenses, stock levels, and profit margins — all in one place. Key features include:

Income & expense tracking

Order & inventory overview

Profit simulation

Clean and customizable UI

How we built it We used React with TailwindCSS for the frontend to quickly build a responsive UI. For the backend, we chose Supabase to handle authentication and data storage. The project is written in TypeScript to keep the codebase predictable and scalable.

Challenges we ran into Rate limiting issues when connecting to the backend

Deciding which KPIs should be prioritized in the UI

Time constraints made it hard to polish all the planned features

Accomplishments that we're proud of Created a working prototype in under 24 hours

Learned and implemented Supabase from scratch

Built a minimal yet functional interface with clear data visualization

What we learned Making quick decisions is crucial in hackathon settings

Less is more — even basic tools can provide value if focused

UI planning before coding can save hours of development time

What's next for SimplifyCommerce Add advanced analytics for revenue and profit

Integrate with platforms like Stripe and Shopify

Improve mobile responsiveness

Launch a closed beta for early feedback
