Command-Line

Inspiration

I've been wanting to make a mock command line, and this was the prototype I came up with. It currently has no front end except for characters. However, the backend works very well.

What it does

It's a prototype command line with only a handful of features, but a very good implementation of said features.

How I built it

I used the STL unordered map and made it a map of function pointers.

Challenges I ran into

Implementing a hash table of function pointers is a little tricky until you simplify everything.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I was able to get it done!

What I learned

Function pointers are quite useful.

What's next for Command-Line

I'm currently working on a simple front end using the NCURSES library. I'm also making it in C to force myself into using the hash map.
