Inspiration
The inspiration that our team had was that we all loved reading comics when we were young, like Big Nate and Dog Man, so due to our love for comics, we were able to make our own website that can make comics for users.
What it does
What it does is that using any image, background, and effect from the internet, you can create your own comic with whatever story you want that comes from your inspiration, allowing for creativity from different worlds.
How we built it
We used a variety of tools to build this, such as Cursor, Lovable, and Deepseek and we were able to refine our prototypes over time by adding features to the website and making the User Interface clearer over time.
Challenges we ran into
Some challenges that we faced while making the website is the initial prototype had trouble downloading, and our website kept reverting back to the old prototypes, which took us some time to fix.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of the fact that we were able to bring something that we cherished while growing up, because it's hard to do due to the hard coding, but we were able to bring it out with our hard work.
What we learned
We learned how to make our own website with our own features that we made, so now we are more experienced in making future websites that might require even more advanced programming than before
What's next for ComicCraft
What's next for ComicCraft is that we still want to add more features to the website to show our users, such as better transitions and more effects, so that is something our team is planning on fixing for the future.
