I was inspired by moving comic books. I've been an animator for over 20 years but have moved from my traditional animation software to AI so that I can spend less time on technical aspects like rigging characters and get more quickly to telling the story.

It's an animated comic book.

I built it using Midjourney and Nano Banana for stills and then animated using Hailuo AI's Start/End frames.

At first it was challenging to produce the Start and End frames to make sure they smoothly transitioned to further the story but as the project progressed it became easier to determine how to proceed.

I'm happy with the way this came out.

This project helped me figure out how to really hone animation tweening in between Start and End frames and figuring out how to plan the story...almost like storyboarding and then bringing it to life.
