ComfyTrade – No-Code Trading Bot Builder for MetaTrader 5

Inspiration

I use MetaTrader 5 every day. Coding in it is hard and slow. I saw ComfyUI and want to make one for trading.

What it does

ComfyTrade lets anyone build trading bots and AI agents just by dragging nodes. No coding. It makes real MT5 robots that actually trade.

How we built it

I made it alone in only 2 months. I asked AWS Kiro (Claude) everything: what to build, how to code it, fix bugs, write tests.

Challenges

Testing is super slow. I have to run MT5 demo, wait for trades, and one small mistake can lose money.

Accomplishments we’re proud of

The MVP really works in 2 months. I neve imagine I could do this in a short time as I am not an advanced programmer.

What we learned

AI can help one person build big things very fast but we still need mcuh time to refract the code and make it maintainable.

What’s next for ComfyTrade

• Build a vibrant, fun community
• Let users create and share custom nodes (just like ComfyUI)
• Marketplace for strategies and nodes
