Inspiration

We aim to help out our fellow students and allow them to have a more balanced lifestyle without the worry of mental health

What it does

It helps provide help to people facing mental health issues.

How we built it

We used HTML/CSS and JavaScript

Challenges we ran into

Collaborating on GitHub was a quite difficult task to overcome and took us quite a while to get through. Furthermore, understanding how the languages work and studying them for the first time was a stressful but enjoyable experience

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud to have a fully functioning website with multiple features such as the comfort bot and multiple visual features that are good to look at. We are proud to collaborate for the first time and have a fully complete and functional website project.

What we learned

We learned how the front-end and back-end works together to create a fully functioning website with the use of HTML/CSS and JavaScript. We understood the basics and intricacies of how each of the languages work in tandem to provide a user experience. We learnt that we should have known how to operate with GitHub before coming to the hackathon because we spent a lot of time learning how the GitHub operations work.

What's next for comfort corner

We aim to provide further support by improving the accuracy of our comfort bot to better aid students in their day-to-day life by checking up with them often.
