Inspiration

Finding research on campus is a difficult and cumbersome process. It starts out by going through a university's directory of professors. You have to then email them to even find out if they are looking for undergraduate researchers. Professors and busy people and they often get hundreds of emails a day so it would be very easy to never get a response. Now imagine if applying for a job was like that.

What it does

Comet Labs allows students to register, add their info to their profile, and browse available research opportunities.

How I built it

We built it using VueJS.

Challenges I ran into

We had difficulty incorporating certain features while being short on time.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Learning VueJS and its vast capabilities.

What I learned

VueJS is an amazing JavaScript platform.

What's next for Comet Labs

Next step is to add features for a laboratory to register and post available opportunities.
