Inspiration
I kept noticing many founders on Instagram posting reels to find co-founders. While it was creative, I couldn’t help but think: 👉 Is this really the best way to connect with the right people?
That thought sparked the idea: Instead of swipes, random posts, or reels, what if there was a game-based approach where people could showcase their skills, mindset, and compatibility—and connect in a more meaningful way?
What it does
How to use simple tools like Replit (and Lovable) to bring an idea to life quickly
The power of rows and prompts in structuring interactive flows
How game mechanics can be applied to serious problems like co-founder discovery
The importance of thinking about community features (posts, comments, discussions) to keep people engaged
How we built it
Designed and prototyped completely on Replit
Explored some parts with Lovable
Structured the logic using rows and prompts
Added the idea of founder posts + comments for community interaction
Built the game-based matching system where:
Founders create games that work like tests
Participants play and reveal their compatibility
Results can be viewed by the founder or their team
Included an internship option → if a founder likes someone’s profile but doesn’t see them as a co-founder, they can still hire them as an intern
Challenges we ran into
Converting a creative idea into something structured and functional
Keeping the project simple enough to build, yet powerful enough to demonstrate the concept
Balancing between fun game-like interaction and serious evaluation for co-founders
Thinking about scalability → like how AI could make game creation easier in the future 🏆 Accomplishments that we’re proud of
Turning a simple observation into a working prototype
Building everything with lightweight tools like Replit and Lovable
Creating a new, playful yet structured way to find co-founders and interns
Designing a flow that others can use as an example for building their own projects
📚 What we learned
How effective prompt-driven structures (rows + prompts) can be for building workflows
The potential of combining games and collaboration tools for solving real problems
The importance of giving users multiple paths: co-founder, intern, or community member
That you don’t always need heavy resources—just experimentation and creativity to bring an idea to life
🚀 What’s next for Comatch
Expanding the game types so founders can customize tests in different ways
Integrating AI to automatically generate games, making it easy for anyone to use
Building a more robust community system for posts, comments, and discussions
Exploring a scalable version of this project so more people can use it as a real tool
Continuing to refine the idea and see how it can evolve beyond just an experiment
