comatch.ai - the story

As a founder, I've had many ideas that I wanted to implement but the lack of founding always haunted me. Last summer I was doing my internship in Beijing in a visa firm called Miracle Plus and I've worked with hundreds of founders there and I've saw problem that it's not only the problem founder's faces to find a proper co founder but also the VC firms to determine which startup to invest in. They had a hard time and they're spending a lot of money millions of dollars to have the best team to invest in. So that's why when I came back to campus, found amazing group of friends as go-founders to build this project not just for this hackathon but also to solve a greater problem as a startup. We envision to be the go-to-platform for founders and help them build the next generation of successful startups and avoid economic losses.

I'm the founder of this idea, I've been working with this idea for a long time, this Hacathon gave me the opportunity to do so, I've worked on the overall integration of the development process, managing the team, giving directions, doing market research and turning into a actual startup

Worked full-stack, first time with Django, learned a lot. Built front-end interface, helped design initial matching algorithm, and currently upgrading the algorithm with a two-tower deep learning model to project users and profiles into a shared latent space and compute match likelihood via similarity scoring.

Paul Garofalo
Worked full stack, but focused on the Django REST framework backend. With the help of my awesome teammates and cursor, were able to build a fully fledged one in 24 hours!
