Inspiration

Comanda Vip was created from a common problem in restaurants and nightclubs in Brazil, where the delay for the waiter to bring the bill into a very crowded restaurant or even the queue to pay the bill at a nightclub is very common.

What it does

It allows the client to pay the bill of the restaurant, the nightclub or event, without the need of interaction with the waiter or employee of the establishment

How we built it

It was developed in Ionic, with server in C # WebApi and MySQL database. Currently we use a Cielo API to register the payment by credit card. In our roadmap we are planning to use VisaCheckout and BitCoin.

Challenges we ran into

Our biggest challenge is to change the culture of consumers to use the cell phone to make payments. We also need to win over our first partner client to study consumer acceptance.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud to be able to publish the first version of the app on the Apple Store and on Google Play.

What we learned

We learned that we need to be faster to bring a product to market, our MVP has much more functionality than expected, which delayed the time to market
