Inspiration

  • The project was inspired when we notice that the current creator economy is flawed where fans contribute to platform success while the reward is not being distributed fairly, thus we thrive to create a balanced economy that rewards the creator and their fans. We also came out with a unique way of doing advertisements through NFT to help brands gain exposure to the targeted community.

What it does

  • Colorverse enables creators to form a community via NFT and fans can join the community via purchasing the NFT community pass on polygon chain. The objective is to promote co-create within a community and as the community grows, every member in the community can be rewarded fairly. Brands can create NFT advertisements and airdrop to targeted communities and a portion of the advertisement fees will be rewarded back to the community.

How we built it

  • We build the platform with NestJS framework as backend and NextJS framework for frontend. Smart contract is built with openzeppelin standard with proxy architecture with BeaconProxy to support future contract upgrades.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • We are proud of being at the forefront to encourage co-create culture for creators and their fans, we strongly believe that when a strong community is formed and rewards are distributed fairly through the use of blockchain and smart contracts, it can create a strong force for content creation in the future.

What we learned

  • We had been in the creator business for a long time and understand the pain points faced by creators. Hence, we strive to create a balance and fair community economy-centric platform that benefits the community and brands at the same time.

What's next for Colorverse

  • We will continue the journey to helps creators monetize their content, encourage communities to co create and most importantly, contribute to educating the public about the benefits of Web3 and the use of blockchain technology.
