Inspiration
The biggest gap between the traditional and the GameFi industry is casual user adoption and inspirational gameplay. Coloring Hero bridges that gap.
What it does
Draw and color your own version of our beautiful characters. After each level, you can mint your drawing to NFTs on Mantle Network. After completing 5 levels, you can mint a new brush and use that brush in game!
The game is fully playable also on both Desktop (w/ Metamask extension) or on Mobile, inside any Dapp-supported wallets. But since Mantle is not live yet, it is best to play with Metamask.
How we built it
The game is built with Pixijs, and Etherjs. The frontend is deployed to Spheron and the smart contract is deployed to Mantle Network using Hardhat.
Challenges we ran into
There are still not many mobile wallets that support custom network like Mantle. Our game's best experience is still on Mobile.
Our team also created a mobile wallet called Ambros App that can support multiple networks and any Dapps that need them.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We combines a popular framework for casual game (PixiJS) with our blockchain stack (EtherJS, Mantle, Spheron). Coloring Hero is just a first step, we believe we can create a whole ecosystem of casual NFT games.
What we learned
Absolutely Spheron! You guys have built an awesome tool that will empower a lot of Frontend developers who are not able to manage their own servers.
What's next for Coloring Hero
Creating more casual games for our audience, even Children. Create fully customisable NFTs that are drawn by our own users.
