What it does
Simulates a lab bench to give users the real college experience
How we built it
We used Unity and Oculus Rift. We got asses from the Unity Asset Store and utilized the mentors at the event!
Challenges we ran into
Computer compatibility issues with VR/Oculus.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to design the room and have a player that can look around in the simulation. We learned a lot about Unity and VR development being first time developers.
What we learned
We learned A LOT! Unity Core Concepts and how to build a room in the editor. How to look for resources and teach ourselves from scratch.
What's next for CollegeSimulator
Apply to VR successfully and add more courses and various environments!
