Inspiration

CollegeCrafters was inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit of college students. With many talented friends starting small businesses on campus, I saw an opportunity to create platform to showcase their talents and offer convenient services to their peers.

What it does

CollegeCrafters serves as a platform for college students to kickstart their small businesses and showcase their talents to a wider audience. It offers students easy access to a variety of services provided by their peers, fostering a supportive and vibrant community within the campus.

How we built it

The Information Webpage was crafted using Gamma App, providing a quick template that I tailored to fit the project's vision. Leveraging ChatGPT and Replit, I developed a prototype of the website, while Figma aided in the planning and visualization of the final design.

Challenges we ran into

Navigating the complexities of JavaScript posed a significant challenge, requiring extensive research and learning. Despite minimal JavaScript experience, online resources and existing knowledge in Java and HTML facilitated the development process.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Turning an idea into a tangible reality and establishing a clear plan for development and launch stand as significant achievements.

What we learned

The project provided invaluable insights into the integration of front-end and back-end resources to create a cohesive website. Exploring new tools and technologies expanded my skill set, enriching my understanding of web development processes.
