College Major Chooser

Inspiration

We are both freshmen so we just recently had to choose a college major. It can be a difficult process, so we wanted to create something that would make it easier for others coming into college.

What it does

Our program provides the user with a suggested college major based on their responses to a series of questions relating to aspects of their personality.

How we built it

We created this project using Visual Studio

Challenges we ran into

We needed a clear and direct way to organize our questioning and results so that it makes sense to outside coders and ourselves.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We managed to create a clear code that will be easily understood by outside coders.

What we learned

We learned how to program a quiz and come up with multiple options.

What's next for College Major Chooser

Right now our quiz gives general field of study one could go in but maybe we give more specialized results.
