College Football Stats API

Inspiration

Static tables are so 2006. A good API is the first step towards the future of college sports statistics reporting.

What it does

Rest endpoint that calculates quarterback statistics with optional filters

How I built it

Python and Falcon. The demo page is made with bootstrap and knockout.

Challenges I ran into

CORS, Deploying with nginx, other technical firsts. Also, the data was not perfect. I had to program defensively.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

The first method of my "API" is up and running on the world wide web.
