Inspiration

The idea behind College Companion was to create a scenario-driven app that acts like a personal assistant for students — helping them stay organized, connected, and less stressed. The inspiration came from noticing how fragmented tools like calendars, reminders, and messaging apps are, and wanting to unify them into one student-first experience.

How we built it

Mobile-first design: Native Android app with a minimalist UI and playful personality
Offline-first architecture: Works without internet, ensuring reliability during exams or travel
