Inspiration

As students, we have seen too many peers in debt, struggling to get the education they deserve. Finding and comparing loan options may be overwhelming for a lot of people, so we built an app to simplify the process.

What it does

Our app recommends students to our database of institutions and banks that give our loans. They can easily see and compare loan options, and apply to their given one of choice.

How we built it

We built our app on top of React, using the NextJS routing framework. Our data is stored inside the MongoDB database, where we access to give loan recommendations to students.

Challenges we ran into

A big challenge for us was the concept of server side rendered components and client side rendered components in React. This often caused issues in routing and fetching from relative routes.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We went above and beyond on styling our website so it looks modern and appealing to any user. Our hearts are in the right place for providing service for those in need.
