Inspiration

In many colleges, bus allotment is done manually, which takes time and may lead to confusion and errors. I got the idea to create this project by observing how students struggle to know their bus number, route. This motivated me to design a simple and interactive bus allotment system using Scratch

What it does

This project automates the process of assigning college buses to students based on their route, making bus allocation faster, accurate, and efficient.

How we built it

I built this project using Scratch by creating sprites for students, buses, and buttons. Variables are used to store bus stop and timing. Based on the input given by the user, the program allots the appropriate college bus and displays the result. The system is designed to be simple, fast, and user-friendly.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges was managing multiple conditions for bus routes . Another difficulty was making the project respond quickly and correctly to user inputs. I solved these problems by breaking the logic into smaller steps and testing the project multiple times.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We successfully developed a fully functional College Bus Allotment System using Scratch that automates the bus allocation process.

What we learned

Through this project, we learned how to design and implement a logical system using Scratch.

What's next for collage bus allotment system

In the future, this project can be enhanced by adding student login and authentication for secure access. Real-time seat availability and route updates can be included to improve accuracy. The system can also be developed as a mobile or web application for easier access by students and administrators.
