Rabat and Casablanca's traffic situation has gotten out of hand which makes a lot more frustrating. We need to do something to lessen the number of cars on the road.
The traffic caused by several causes. The car ownership of most Moroccans was increasing during last several years. This has put intense pressure on the road system. Absence of modern and comfortable public transportation such as buses, tramways, or subways, also triggered most workers rely on taxis, thus adding more traffic.
Collabmoto can turns every car into a shared car, not only personal owned car, but also can share taxi fare between passenger. This will cut down on traffic, CO2 emissions, and reshape cities altogether. It also create a new category of transportation. We are not replacing the public transportation, but we are helping to enhance it.
We are also concerned about the security. We have verification options to user, in which a user can upload their NIEC or resident certificate to be verified in the system. So, driver can choose which rider to whom they want to share the ride. This facility also lead woman to share to the woman-only passenger.
