CollabCode Update
Significant improvements have been made to enhance performance, security, and user experience.
Connections Reworked – Now request-based, similar to modern social platforms, reducing bugs and improving efficiency by storing only user IDs.
Profile Images – Users can now set and store profile pictures securely in the cloud.
Persistent User Data – Data remains safe even if the server goes down, thanks to an integrated API database.
Interactive Coding Sessions – Teachers can grant students real-time coding access for individual tasks or collaborative work, making lessons more dynamic.
Security & Stability Enhancements –
Users must log in before joining a session.
Sessions maintain authentication for up to 8 hours.
Security features include Helmet, express-rate-limit, CORS, cookie-parser, express-session, and Morgan to prevent common attacks.
CollabCode remains completely free to ensure accessible computer science education for everyone.
