Inspiration

As a 17-year-old indie hacker and freelancer, I kept seeing one common struggle: cold outreach is hard. Writing the perfect email takes too long. Tools out there are either overpriced, generic, or way too complex for someone who just wants to land clients fast. That’s why I built ColdSendr — a smart, AI-powered cold email generator that helps freelancers, solopreneurs, and founders connect with clients in seconds — not hours.

What It Does

ColdSendr makes sending cold emails effortless. Just type what you do → hit generate → and instantly get personalized, ready-to-send cold emails that feel human — not like a bot wrote them. No sign-up needed. No fluff. Just pure speed.

How We Built It

Next.js for a fast, modern frontend
TailwindCSS for clean, mobile-first UI
OpenRouter (Claude & GPT) for AI-powered email generation
Redis + Celery for async task processing
Supabase and Railway for scalable backend and deployment

Challenges We Faced

Balancing free access while managing API and infra limits
Making emails feel authentic — not robotic or spammy
Building everything solo, fast, and in public during a tight hackathon

What's Next

ColdSendr is just getting started. Next steps:

Launching a SaaS version with analytics & follow-ups
Adding a team workspace for sales teams & agencies
Launching a referral system to grow through community & creators
