Cold Guard is an in-line refrigeration Intrusion Protection System (IPS) for Operation Technology devices that detect malicious attacks before it reaches the Program Logic Controller.
In October 2026, attackers broke into the refrigeration systems of about 700 French supermarkets. They forced continuous defrost cycles and pushed set points to 50 °C. The targets were older, unpatched systems speaking protocols with no authentication. Stores can’t easily replace that equipment, so we wanted to protect it as it is.
