Inspiration
The inspiration for COINCREDD stemmed from the need to create a decentralized, peer-to-peer financial ecosystem that empowers users to manage their finances without relying on traditional banking systems. Observing the limitations and inefficiencies in the current lending and borrowing markets, especially for stable coins, we aimed to develop a solution that offers transparency, security, and efficiency. Leveraging the capabilities of the Lisk blockchain, we envisioned COINCREDD as a platform that democratizes access to financial services, allowing anyone to participate in lending and borrowing with ease.
What it does
COINCREDD is a peer-to-peer decentralized application (dApp) built on the Lisk testnet, facilitating the lending and borrowing of stable coins. Users can request loans, offer loans, liquidate loans, pay back loans, and claim loans, all within a secure and transparent blockchain environment. The platform utilizes Lisk Tokens as collateral, ensuring that both lenders and borrowers have a stake in the process. By providing these functionalities, COINCREDD enables users to access liquidity or earn interest on their assets, all while maintaining full control over their funds.
How we built it
Building COINCREDD involved several key steps
Platform Development Using the Lisk SDK, we developed the core functionality of the dApp, ensuring seamless interaction between users and the blockchain.
Smart Contracts We created smart contracts to manage loan requests, approvals, payments, and liquidations, ensuring that all transactions are secure and transparent.
User Interface We designed an intuitive and user-friendly interface, making it easy for users to navigate the platform and perform actions such as requesting and managing loans. Testing: Extensive testing was conducted on the Lisk testnet to ensure the stability and security of the platform, identifying and resolving any potential issues.

Blockchain Integration: Ensuring seamless integration with the Lisk blockchain required overcoming technical hurdles and optimizing smart contract functionality. User Experience: Designing an interface that is both functional and intuitive posed a challenge, as we aimed to cater to both novice and experienced users.
