Inspiration

We found that traditional price tickers only track average price information like price, market cap, and 24hr change. With cryptocurrencies being so speculative, community sizes and news pieces are what have a high effect on price change. We are supplying those community metrics in an easy to use interface.

What it does

Coinbyte tracks community metrics for coins and helps traders see the correlation that occurs between price and community reactions.

How we built it

We're using React and Bootstrap to build the frontend. We're also looking for a full stack to ensure durability in the product. Sketch 3 was used for the design.

Challenges we ran into

Finding the right full stack to support our product. We also found a way to get around all the data we would have to supply by changing the UI.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of the research and validation we've received on this product. We're also excited to get into testing and get more user feedback.

What we learned

The full process from design to implementation that goes into building a product. We also learned how to manage our team to set attainable goals.

What's next for coinbyte

We're hoping to receive funding to finish the MVP and continue testing and iterating.
