Inspiration

There are expected to be many opportunities in STEM as technology keeps advancing and we want the next generation to solve the world's greatest problems.

What it does

Multiplayer Competitive Web Game to help children to learn how to code through team collaboration. There are 2 teams of 2 and the ultimate goal is to design a path to collect as many coins as possible. The team that collected the most coins wins.

How we built it

HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Blockly, Pixi.JS, Digital Ocean, Node.JS,Web Sockets, Bootstrap

Challenges we ran into

Difficulty in narrowing down an initial idea, Learning a new language Blockly, and Real-time interaction during multiplayer model

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Realtime Competitive Multiplayer Game where friends can team up and have a friendly competition with one another.

What's next for Coin Raiders

Adding more block options like while loops and more challenging and fun mazes. Maybe build more products with different stories and scenarios. Also improving the graphics and upgrading to 3D.
