Cognitive Contract
Inspiration
We've all pulled an all-nighter, highlighted half a textbook, and still walked into an exam feeling completely lost. The problem isn't time spent, but rather, it's that passive studying feels productive without actually being productive. We wanted to fix the feedback loop.
The idea came from behavioural economics. Specifically, the concept that people make better decisions when there's a real cost to failure. If you have nothing to lose, you'll convince yourself you know something when you don't. We asked: what if studying was also part of the game?
That led us to Cognitive Contract - an app where you stake crypto before you study, get examined by an AI after, and only recover your funds if you can prove genuine understanding.
