Inspiration:

Idea about CogniPulse AI came in my mind when I thought, how annoying is to learn professors bulk of notes, than I thought how hard is to find quiz for my college courses. so I thought why not build a Ai powered Short notes and quiz making web app?

What it does: CogniPulse has two tool engines:-

To save you valuable study time, NotePulse converts unstructured text into concise revision aids. Powered by the latest Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite model, it delivers high-precision outputs with lightning-fast execution.

CogniQuiz

CogniQuiz is an automated creative question generator designed for active recall and self-assessment. It creates custom quizzes directly from your notes to test your understanding before exams. Powered by the same Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite model, CogniQuiz delivers structured assessments instantly.

How we built it:

I used python and streamlit, json with Gen ai integration than deployed it into streamlit to make it workable and we also used dotenv to hide its API key.

Challenges we ran into:

when I was building it , first thing we encountered was "How to integrate api key? because it will be visible to others and they can steal it", then I got to know about .env files that are used for these works. Second was that I was getting backed to previous page when I tap to Quiz options then to solve it, I learned session state.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It was my first hackathon project, first public repo and first deployed , I am proud of trying to make this project.

I am thinking of adding database for student progress, authenication and More Ai integration.
