Inspiration
A common nuisance in life we shared was dealing with all the different coffee ordering apps.
What it does
At the press of a button, our app will find the closest coffee shop and order one for you to pick up!
How we built it
We used html, csss, and javascript to build the application to process data collected from the google-maps and google-places api. Figma was used to design the application.
Challenges we ran into
We weren't experienced in a lot of technologies used for this project. There were a lot of challenges some which include attempting to scrape information and using json files.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
In the short amount of time that we had, we felt that the solution that we came up with would be desired by many people.
What we learned
We learned how to use google-places and google-maps api to get location information and details of the coffee shops.
What's next for Coffee Now!
We want to implement proper payment and improve the scraping process for information. Another feature we want to add is customed drinks.
