Inspiration
- COVID-19 Pandemic
- A large number of individuals who have nothing to do and have a hard time finding a fun and worthwhile activity
What it does
- Provides users with multiple resources for coding as well as updates with global COVID-19 cases in order to also promote social-distancing efforts
How I built it
- Tech Stack: MacBook, GitHub, Atom Text Editor
- Intense researching for web design inspiration and informational, yet digestible COVID-19 visuals
- Time management
- Openness to ask for help from the mentors
Challenges I ran into
- This is one of my first big solo projects, so my main challenge was essentially being able to present a project I'd be proud of
- Breakpoints, embed websites, formatting
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
- Improve UX/UI design, implement breakpoints, and embed resourceful chart
What I learned
- Basically how to create a more vibrant site in contrast to my previous works, which are a lot more static and visually plain
What's next for Coding Under COVID
- Future iterations: functioning Contact footer, more resources, log-in page
