streams video of your files, saves as vertical video for content creation, uses XAI API to generate a script, sends the video and script to Elevenlabs API for audio generation, save audio and video.

Inspiration

The inspiration for CodeStream came from the rising popularity of vertical video on platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. I needed a unique background for videos, and this was the thing I thought of first.

What it does

CodeStream is a web application that converts static code files into dynamic, 9:16 aspect ratio vertical videos. Users can upload code files in various languages, and the application will generate a real-time, character-by-character animation of the code appearing. It allows for customizable streaming speed, offers pause/resume functionality, and lets users record these animations as high-quality MP4 files. All created videos are saved locally in the browser's IndexedDB, where they can be managed, downloaded, and shared.

Keep on Creating stuff, add more stuff when I have free time, maybe add the avatar that speaks the captions and .. find a way to have AI automate the creation of these videos with educational content
