Inspiration

We all use Spotify, found it pretty interesting the amount of data spotify's API allows you to access. ## What it does Uses the API to retrieve playlists and the songs within. Then calulates an average mood for each playlist.

How we built it

We intended to build this project utilising Python, through modules such as Spotipy.

Challenges I ran into

Dealing with different levels of scopes through spotipy was challenging at first being new to web API.

Accomplishments that I’m proud of

Getting a basic grasp of the API.

What I learned

We’ve developed skills using spotifys API, learning about different levels of scopes as well as how to extract a vast amount of different data provided by spotify too manipulate and give a better understanding of the users music preference.
