💡 Inspiration: Why I built this? We live in a digital world designed for the sighted and the able-bodied.

The Reality: In India alone, over 20 million people are visually impaired, facing daily struggles with navigation, currency identification, and reading documents.

The Developer's Struggle: On the other hand, software developers face burnout, spending hours fixing repetitive bugs and manually converting UI designs into code.

I asked myself: Why build two separate apps when one powerful Multimodal AI (Gemini 3) can solve both? Thus, CodeNetra-AI was born—one app that provides "Digital Eyes" for the blind and a "Coding Brain" for developers.

🚀 What it does (The Solution) CodeNetra-AI is a single application with two distinct modes, powered by the same Gemini 3 Flash intelligence:

  1. 👁️ Netra Vision Mode (For Social Good) Designed to empower the visually impaired with independence.

Live Hazard Detection: The app "sees" the world in real-time and warns users of obstacles like chairs, walls, or potholes.

Currency & Object Recognition: Instantly identifies Indian Rupee notes and daily objects.

Smart Document Reader: Reads aloud physical documents and PDFs using Text-to-Speech.

  1. 💻 Developer Mode (For Productivity) Designed to accelerate software development.

UI to Code Engine: Developers can upload a screenshot of any app design, and CodeNetra instantly converts it into clean Flutter code.

Repo Chat: Users can upload entire project ZIP files to ask complex architectural questions.

AI Debugger: Finds and fixes bugs in seconds.

⚙️ How I built it (Tech Stack) I built this entire project as a solo full-stack engineer to demonstrate the power of modern AI integration.

Frontend: Flutter (Dart) for a seamless cross-platform experience (Android/iOS/Web).

AI Brain: Google Gemini 3 Flash API for high-speed, multimodal processing (Vision + Text).

Backend: Firebase for authentication and database management.

Tools: Google idx, VS Code, Git/GitHub.
