Inspiration
Everyone in the team felt that they always do solo programming. So to compassionate our hacker journey we want to make something that helps hackers to find another hacker.
What it does
It helps hackers worldwide find the same experienced people and the field they are interested in. Hackers will grow their network and meet some amazing people.
How we built it
We built it using ReactJS (front-end) and ExpressJS (Back-End).
Challenges we ran into
It took time to match the cards and syncing them with the Back-End. The authentication almost took one night to complete. Syncing the back-end and the front-end consumed a lot of time. There was a merge conflict in the front-end repository. Everyone in the team felt that time is very less to create a full stack project. But Somehow we made it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we finally made the project work.
What we learned
We learned how to filter the database. The most important thing we learned was to make this project from scratch in just 48 hrs. We also learned how to manage git repositories by developing them in the local machine.
What's next for code mates
We are looking forward to adding some more features like adding a call feature in the chat and creating rooms for the Hackers to talk about their journey. I am very elated to be a part of this journey.
