Inspiration
We wanted to give an opportunity to young teens that have never thought of coding as an avenue to be successful.
What it does
Connects live programming, to expose coding to youth.
How we built it
We used a variety of programming languages ranging from html, css, python, and javascript.
Challenges we ran into
One of the biggest challenges we ran into was knowing how to engage the students and keep them engaged.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Knowing that we're doing this for a good cause and that we're able to change the lives of minorities forever is our biggest accomplishments.
What we learned
The biggest thing we learned was the impact that our program will have in the lives of underrepresented youth.
What's next for CodeK12
Continue to iterate this product by getting feedback from students, parents, and teachers of what is needed to keep the students engaged, learning, and wanting more!
