🚀 About the Project
CodeHub was inspired by the vibrant online coding communities and the competitive spirit of platforms like LeetCode and HackerRank. We wanted to build something that didn’t just offer challenges, but also fostered collaboration, learning, and a sense of belonging for developers at every level.
🎨 Inspiration
Seeing how many coders struggle to find motivation or get stuck without support, we envisioned a platform combining:
- Competitive coding for excitement,
- Interactive learning for growth,
- And a community to connect and learn together.
🛠️ How We Built It
The landing page was crafted with Next.js for modern React-based development and Tailwind CSS for rapid, responsive design. Animations and UI dynamics were powered by Framer Motion, adding life to every section. We took inspiration from the stunning visuals of projects like Code Pilots on Behance, aiming for a futuristic, immersive feel with gradients, glowing elements, and interactive cards.
📚 What We Learned
- How to design complex, multi-section landing pages with modern CSS utilities.
- Using Framer Motion effectively to bring static components to life.
- Balancing performance with advanced visuals (gradients, blur effects, etc.).
- Creating a UI that feels both professional and engaging.
⚔️ Challenges We Faced
- Ensuring responsiveness across devices with visually heavy components.
- Achieving a consistent look across different browsers and screen sizes.
- Managing overlapping animations without sacrificing performance.
- Iterating on color palettes to strike the perfect balance between energetic and professional aesthetics.
