We noticed that coding assistants are either too complex for beginners or too limited for advanced developers. Hackathons inspired us to create CodeGenie, a futuristic AI coding partner that adapts in real time and helps you build full projects with just natural language prompts.

What it does

CodeGenie is your fully autonomous, real-time AI coding partner. It:

Builds entire websites, apps, and scripts directly from prompts.

Provides step-by-step explanations for beginners.

Suggests optimizations and futuristic UI/UX improvements for advanced users.

Works like a true coding teammate instead of just a chatbot.

Challenges we ran into

Getting the AI to generate entire working projects instead of just small snippets.

Designing a futuristic interface that looks professional but is simple for users.

Managing real-time collaboration without overloading the server.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Built a prompt-to-project engine that generates full websites in minutes.

Created a futuristic UI theme (dark blue, neon pink, purple glow).

Successfully showcased CodeGenie as a hackathon-ready AI partner.

What we learned

How to combine AI + full-stack development in a real product.

The importance of good UX/UI in making AI tools feel natural.

That AI assistants can be more than helpers—they can be co-builders.

What's next for CodeGenie

Adding voice commands for hands-free coding.

Building a team mode where multiple users can collaborate with the same AI.

Launching a free-for-students plan so every beginner can learn faster.

Expanding into mobile app generation directly from prompts.
