“A Sneak Peek into My Portfolio – Clean, Interactive, Ready!”
Inspiration
As a student stepping into the tech world, I realized that having a personal portfolio is one of the best ways to showcase skills, projects, and achievements. However, most portfolio templates felt too static or lacked customization. This inspired me to build Codefolio – My Interactive Portfolio Website, a platform that represents not only my journey but also allows interactivity, creativity, and a modern touch.
What it does
Codefolio serves as a personal interactive portfolio website where users can: 1) Showcase their projects, skills, and achievements in a clean and professional layout. 2) Provide an engaging user experience with animations and responsive design. 3) Include sections such as About Me, Projects, Contact, and Resume. 4) Help recruiters and peers quickly understand the individual’s strengths.
How we built it
We built Codefolio using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to keep it simple and beginner-friendly. The design is responsive for both desktop and mobile. Icons and visuals were added for clarity, and I structured the content to highlight ECE + coding skills. The project is hosted on GitHub Pages for easy access.
Challenges we ran into
Balancing simplicity with interactivity. Making the design responsive for all screen sizes. Writing clean, beginner-friendly code without relying on heavy frameworks. Deciding what to highlight as an ECE student while keeping the site compact
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Built my first complete interactive portfolio website from scratch. Designed a clean and responsive layout. Successfully combined hardware + software project highlights. Created something that I will continue to use beyond the hackathon.

I plan to add a live IoT demo to highlight my ECE background, improve interactivity with animations and dark mode, expand the projects section, and deploy it with a custom domain as my professional portfolio.
