Inspiration:
We are an ambitious team with a drive to create something new. We are currently in our 1st year Bachelor's degree looking toward leveraging our portfolio and hoping to network with professionals. Creating a personal website was one thing we were always excited about, and an integrated chatbot seemed to be a nice touch, hence we grabbed this opportunity to put our skills to the test and create our first chatbot.
What it does
Our digital portfolio displays a comprehensive overview of the person, and the chatbot that is integrated with it is designed to answer tailored questions specific to the viewer. It can clarify any doubts the viewer wants to ask, hence minimizing the need to contact the person numerous times.
How we built it
We first undertook research for the right tools to create our required project in the given timeframe.
Challenges we ran into
There were some challenges due to the tools being paid.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of making it to the top 10 finalists, and we hope our project can live up to the expectations of this hackathon. The learning experience we got is an incredible accomplishment which cannot be attained by following coursework. Here's to more hackathons!
What we learned
We learned how to use the website Wix to create designs and animations, as well as link different pages. The most important takeaway was the understanding of how an AI chatbot works by using the simple yet comprehensive tool - Chatling. We understood the importance of datasets for accuracy.
What's next for CodeCrafters
We are proud of how far we have come. Our aim is to move forward with this project using coding platforms such as React for the website and Langchain or LLamaindex to code our own AI chatbot!
