Helping Touch – NGO Management & Donation Platform
Inspiration
Many NGOs struggle to maintain an engaging online presence while managing volunteers, donations, campaigns, and impact reporting. Existing websites are often outdated, difficult to navigate, or lack transparency. We wanted to build a modern, user-friendly platform that helps NGOs connect with donors, volunteers, and beneficiaries while showcasing their mission and impact.
What it does
Helping Touch is a responsive NGO website designed to improve communication, transparency, and community engagement. The platform enables visitors to:
- Learn about the NGO's mission and vision
- Explore ongoing and completed campaigns
- Make donations through a dedicated donation section
- Register as volunteers
- Read success stories and testimonials
- View impact statistics and achievements
- Contact the organization easily
- Browse events and initiatives through an intuitive interface
The project focuses on accessibility, responsive design, and a clean user experience to encourage greater participation and trust.
How we built it
The project was designed and developed using modern web technologies with a mobile-first approach.
Development involved:
- Designing a clean and responsive UI
- Building reusable frontend components
- Creating responsive layouts using Flexbox and CSS Grid
- Implementing smooth navigation and interactive sections
- Optimizing performance for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
- Deploying the application for public access using Bolt
Throughout development, emphasis was placed on simplicity, accessibility, maintainability, and scalability.
Challenges we ran into
